Partnership Marketing Manager Hillsboro Hops Baseball Full-Time, Salary/Exempt Start Date: February-March 2026 About the Hillsboro Hops The Hillsboro Hops are entering an exciting new era with the opening of our brand-new ballpark, the first new professional sports venue in the Portland market in more than 30 years. This transformational moment positions the Hops at the center of regional growth, community connection, and innovation in sports entertainment. We are seeking a Partnership Marketing Manager to join our Opening Day team—a hands-on leader who will help shape how brands show up in our new home and how partnerships come to life for fans, partners, and the community. The Opportunity This role is ideal for an experienced sports marketing professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and execution. The Partnership Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing, activating, and growing corporate partnerships while delivering best-in-class experiences in a brand-new venue. You’ll play a critical role in launching a new stadium, activating partners, and helping establish the Hillsboro Hops as a premier sports and entertainment property in the greater Portland region. Key Responsibilities • Day-to-day management and activation of corporate partnerships • Develop and execute custom marketing programs that deliver measurable value for partners • Serve as a liaison between partners and internal departments including Sales, Events, Operations, Creative, and Community • Assist in the creation of in-ballpark signage, promotions, digital integrations, hospitality elements, and special events • Create or support simple design needs for partnership activations (e.g., mockups, presentations, signage drafts, or digital assets), collaborating closely with the Creative team as needed • Manage fulfillment timelines, approvals, and deliverables to ensure exceptional partner satisfaction • Support partnership renewals and upsells through strong relationship management and results-driven reporting • Collaborate on new partnership ideas and inventory as part of the new venue launch • Assist with game day execution and partner servicing during events Qualifications • 5 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of experience and education) in sports marketing, partnership marketing, or sponsorship activation (professional or collegiate sports preferred) • Proven success managing multiple corporate partners and complex activation plans • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills • Experience working cross-functionally across departments • Managing vendor relationships such as FanCompass and other technology platforms that enhance the partnership assets. • Basic to intermediate proficiency in design tools (such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) to support partnership materials and presentations • Comfort with game nights, weekends, and event-based schedules • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business, or related field preferred Why Join the Hops? • Be part of the Opening Day staff for a brand-new ballpark • Help launch the first new sports venue in the Portland market in 30 years • Shape how brands engage fans in a rapidly growing region • Join a collaborative, community-focused organization with momentum and ambition • Make a visible, lasting impact on a franchise entering a new chapter Compensation • Salaried, dependent on experience • Healthcare and dental plan covered by the Hops for the employee after 90 days. • 401k match at 4% after 1000 hours of employment (typically 6 months on average) We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
