Join the Highwire Team as an Account Director! As an Account Director on Highwire's B2B Technology team, you will have the opportunity to lead high-impact integrated communications programs for fast-growing and enterprise technology brands. Your expertise in sectors such as enterprise software, AI, cloud, and data infrastructure will empower you to translate complex technology concepts into compelling narratives that drive significant business results. Key Responsibilities: • Lead B2B technology clients, ensuring high-quality service across enterprise software, AI, cloud, and data sectors. • Develop integrated communications strategies that enhance brand credibility and awareness. • Provide senior-level counsel on messaging, positioning, media relations, and thought leadership initiatives. • Transform intricate technology topics into engaging, business-relevant stories. • Act as the senior client lead and ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations. • Identify and pursue opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts, partnering for executive visibility and product storytelling. • Manage budgets efficiently while forecasting hours and allocating resources effectively across teams. Media & Influencer Engagement: • Establish and maintain robust relationships with top-tier media across business, technology, and trade sectors. • Drive thought leadership programs and creative storytelling initiatives to elevate client visibility. • Lead data-driven and trend-based pitching that secures meaningful media coverage. • Utilize digital and social channels strategically to enhance earned media and audience engagement. • Stay abreast of media and market trends to offer proactive, strategic guidance. Agency Operations & Leadership: • Manage a team of 3-4 direct reports, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback. • Support new business initiatives, from research to pitch presentation. • Contribute to agency marketing efforts, including award submissions and content creation. • Champion an inclusive and collaborative culture within Highwire. • Represent Highwire at industry events and networking opportunities. Team Development: • Coach and mentor account teams to ensure clarity on responsibilities and client goals. • Foster a collaborative environment conducive to professional and creative growth. • Lead by example, upholding high standards of professionalism and client service. Success Factors: • 7+ years of PR or communications experience in an agency environment. • Extensive experience managing B2B technology clients. • Demonstrated success in developing integrated communications programs that yield measurable business results. • Strong understanding of the B2B technology media and analyst landscape. • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities. • Proven strategic leadership and client management skills. • Established media relationships within relevant sectors. • Experience in mentoring and managing high-performing teams. • Strong business acumen and the ability to identify growth opportunities. • Creative, collaborative, and confident communicator, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $135,000, determined by various factors including education, relevant experience, and skills.
