Provide support to ESL literacy-level students, classrooms, and teachers, coach instructional staff on literacy best practices, and assist leadership with curriculum and professional development duties.
Experience in ESL literacy instruction, curriculum development, and ability to coach instructional staff, with some administrative support skills.
Position Summary: Under direction of the Director of Instruction & Professional Learning, the Literacy Specialist will provide support to ESL literacy-level students, classrooms, and teachers. This individual is responsible for coaching instructional staff on best practices for literacy instruction and support of literacy-level students.
