Chronic skilled labor shortages, supply chain disruptions, and escalating materials costs are causing billions of dollars in project delays, cost overruns, and rework every year. Our solution is a compact, mobile, semi-autonomous 3D concrete printing (3DCP) system that transforms digital CAD designs directly into full-scale structures, whether houses, buildings, infrastructure components, or even artificial reefs, precisely and efficiently, on site. Position Summary • X-Hab 3D (www.xhab3d.com) based in State College, PA, is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to lead execution of our messaging and content strategy across commercial, government, and international markets. This is a hands-on, content-focused role that requires fluency in technical subject matter and the ability to clearly communicate to targeted customer prospects how our systems deliver real-world value. • The ideal candidate is a thoughtful communicator and strong writer who can collaborate cross-functionally to translate engineering innovations into accessible, benefit-driven narratives that resonate with diverse customer groups. You will help build awareness and drive interest across a range of industry sectors, including residential and commercial construction, civil infrastructure, disaster recovery and defense by supporting the sales team with effective, accurate, and professional communications. Key Responsibilities Messaging & Content Development • Gather feedback from customer engagements, sales team input, and market research to continuously refine messaging, positioning, and content priorities • Translate complex systems and processes into clear, benefits-oriented language without exaggeration or loss of technical integrity • Tailor narratives to the needs and language of distinct market segments—builders, contractors, Federal, state and local government agencies, and infrastructure leads • Write and edit marketing content including brochures, sales decks, web copy, social media posts, trade show materials, podcasts, YouTube “how to” videos, and case studies • Monitor competitor messaging and market trends to help refine X-Hab 3D’s value propositions, competitive differentiators, and thought leadership content. • Develop and maintain consistent messaging and positioning across all communication channels Marketing Campaign Support • Execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event channels in collaboration with the VP of Sales & Marketing • Maintain a content calendar, ensuring timely development and deployment of assets aligned with sales and event schedules • Work with external creative agencies, freelance writers, and designers to deliver content on brand and on time Digital Communications • Manage content updates for the company website in collaboration with design and technical resources • Draft and schedule posts for social media channels, aligned with brand tone and market objectives • Support basic SEO and analytics monitoring to guide content performance Brand & Internal Communications • Ensure all customer-facing content aligns with brand standards and product positioning • Assist with internal documentation and communications materials to support cross-team understanding of product capabilities • Support executives and technical team with materials for speaking engagements, investor presentations, and thought leadership Collaboration • Work closely with engineering and product staff to ensure technical accuracy in marketing materials • Partner with the sales team to develop use-case specific assets and customer-facing tools that support sales engagement • Contribute to marketing inputs for conferences, trade shows, and product demonstrations Qualifications & Experience • 5+ years in B2B marketing communications, content marketing, or product marketing in a technical field • Strong writing and editing skills across multiple formats and channels • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Experience developing materials that support sales in government, construction, or industrial sectors • Familiarity with marketing tools including CMS, HubSpot (or equivalent), social media platforms, and basic design tools • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field; technical or engineering background is a plus Personal Attributes • Technically curious, with a commitment to getting the details right • Practical communicator who values clarity, accuracy, and credibility over hype • Organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines • Collaborative, positive, and able to work across departments to gather input and feedback • Mission-aligned and motivated by the opportunity to support sustainable, advanced construction technologies How to Apply • Resume • Brief cover letter describing your background and why you’re excited about X-Hab 3D • 2–3 writing samples that demonstrate your ability to communicate technical or complex topics to a broad audience
