Job Overview We are seeking a Director of Field Operations to lead all field operations across High Vision Construction projects within Eastern Market Seaboard west of Texas. This role ensures each project is executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company standards, specifications, and schedules. The Director-Field Operations oversees the field managers, the field superintendents, independent subcontractors, site personnel, and all on-site activities, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and budget adherence. This position requires exceptional leadership, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate closely with Project Managers, Independent Contractors, Builders and external stakeholders to deliver outstanding results that reflect High Vision Construction’s commitment to excellence. Responsibilities • Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and • safety standards. • Coordinate closely with Project Managers to develop, maintain, and execute detailed project schedules and • track milestones through software solutions. • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of workmanship, and compliance with company • and client expectations. • Maintain detailed records including photos of job completion, quality inspections, GC sign-offs, and jobsite • audits. • Supervise and evaluate subcontractor performance to ensure work is completed within scope, budget, and • quality parameters. • Enforce and promote company safety protocols to maintain a secure and compliant jobsite environment. • Serve as the primary point of communication among clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to • ensure project alignment and timely resolution of issues. • Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior field staff and labor teams, fostering a culture of • accountability and continuous improvement. • Support cost-control measures and value engineering initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability. • Uphold High Vision Construction’s commitment to quality craftsmanship, schedule integrity, and customer • satisfaction across all projects. • Work Location: Remote Experience • Minimum of 10–15 years of progressive experience in construction field operations, including large-scale, multi-site commercial or residential construction projects. • 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Director, Senior Superintendent, Operations Manager, or equivalent) overseeing multiple projects and geographically dispersed teams. • Proven experience managing field managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and on-site personnel across multiple active job sites. • Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling, execution, and milestone tracking using construction management and scheduling software. • Strong background in quality control, safety compliance (OSHA or equivalent), and jobsite audits, with a consistent record of maintaining safe and compliant work environments. • Extensive experience coordinating with Project Managers, General Contractors, Independent Contractors, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve issues and ensure alignment. • Proven ability to monitor budgets, control costs, and support value engineering initiatives while maintaining schedule and quality standards. • Experience conducting site inspections, subcontractor performance evaluations, and progress reporting, including photo documentation and formal sign-offs. • Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing field leadership teams, fostering accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. • Experience working in a remote or regional leadership role, managing projects across multiple locations with limited direct on-site presence. • Track record of delivering projects that meet or exceed quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction expectations.
