Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our pediatric therapy team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless patient experience by managing administrative tasks and providing exceptional support within our clinic environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and therapists. Duties • Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures. • Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers. • Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history. • Coordinate communication between patients and medical staff, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly. • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. • Assist in the preparation of treatment plans and follow-up care instructions. • Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies. • Educate patients on procedures, policies, and office protocols to enhance their experience. Requirements • Previous experience in a pediatric private practice setting is preferred. • Familiarity with pediatric therapy terminology is helpful for effective communication. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members. • Proficient in using office software applications for scheduling and record management. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
