About the position We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact projects from planning through delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence. This role partners closely with executives, business stakeholders, technology teams, and third-party vendors to deliver strategic solutions . This position is based in Paramus, NJ, with a hybrid schedule (3 days per week on-site). Responsibilities • Partner with executives and senior leaders to define project objectives and strategic vision. • Collaborate with business and technology partners to scope projects, design solutions, and deliver outcomes aligned with business goals. • Estimate resources and costs, prepare and manage budgets, and recommend adjustments as needed. • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve or escalate issues, and manage dependencies and critical paths. • Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and reports using appropriate tools. • Provide regular status updates to Steering Committees and stakeholders. • Coordinate user acceptance testing, communications, and training. • Ensure proper documentation of deliverables, installation, support models, and operating procedures. • Apply Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies where applicable. • Perform other duties as needed to support business objectives. Requirements • Strong understanding of infrastructure systems: WAN/LAN, cloud servers, personal computing, backup, and related applications. • Proficiency in Google Suite (Slides, Sheets) and project management tools. • Exceptional communication skills—persuasive, motivating, and clear in both verbal and written formats. • Ability to engage executives and teams to elicit vision, goals, and requirements. • Solid knowledge of project and software development life cycles (PMLC, SDLC, Waterfall, Agile/Scrum). • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in fast-paced environments. • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement processes. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field. • 5+ years of technology project management experience in business and IT settings. • Proven success managing large infrastructure and application deployment projects. • Experience working in a PMO-structured environment with standardized documentation and tools. Nice-to-haves • PMP, ITIL, or Lean/Six Sigma certifications preferred. • Utilities industry experience (water/electric) strongly preferred. • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technology discussions, manage stakeholders, and present project deliverable • Flexible work from home options available.
