What you will work on • HR operations management: Handle day-to-day HR operations including payroll, benefits administration, internal reporting, and tasks related to hiring and terminations. • System design and automation: Build, optimize, and scale HR processes and systems to support rapid company growth. • Compliance & international HR: Ensure compliance with U.S. employment law across multiple states and handle relocation of international talent, including L-1 visas. • Data & reporting: Manage internal HR dashboards, forecasts, and analytics to guide strategic decisions. • Employee experience: Partner with leadership and team members to create smooth onboarding, offboarding, and benefits experiences for employees worldwide. • HR tech expertise: Deep expertise in Rippling to manage HR workflows efficiently. Your must haves • Proven experience in HR operations at a fast-growing startup or tech company. • Expertise in payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee lifecycle management. • Strong experience with Rippling (essential). • Experience managing international hiring and visa processes (L-1 visas preferred). • Ability to build HR systems and procedures from scratch to a scalable operation. • Excellent organizational, reporting, and analytical skills. • Flexibility to coordinate across globally distributed teams and different time zones. Nice to haves • Experience with other HRIS systems beyond Rippling. • Prior exposure to high-growth GenAI, AI, or SaaS startups. • Hands-on experience in HR policy creation and compliance audits. • Familiarity with global employment laws and remote workforce management. • Based in SF Bay Area or Los Angeles preferred. Compensation Range: $100K - $125K
