Health Plan Project Manager Location: Remote About Us HGAN (the Health Growth Advisory Network) is a trusted advisor to innovative healthcare solutions. We help accelerate their growth by connecting them with the insights and relationships they need to succeed with health plans and employers. Passionate about advancing health care, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Health Plan Project Manager to help our partner solutions and internal teams thrive. Position Overview Health Plan Project Manager plays a central role in keeping our work running smoothly — from coordinating activities with our partner solutions (the innovative healthcare companies in our network) to supporting our advisor community and internal leadership team. This is not a technology project management role. Instead, it’s about being exceptional at the fundamentals of project leadership: workback planning, prioritization, agendas, follow-through, and clear communication that helps the team stay aligned and deliver excellent results. The ideal candidate is highly organized, confident in managing multiple competing priorities, and thrives on being the person who ensures that details don’t get lost, progress moves forward, and relationships are strengthened along the way. Key Responsibilities Partner & Advisor Engagement Support • Act as the operational backbone for partner solution engagements related to Health Plan opportunities, supporting Relationship Managers and ensuring partners feel guided and supported. • Draft agendas, capture and distribute clear meeting notes, and follow through to make sure next steps are completed. • Track advisor interactions and feedback, ensuring themes are surfaced and incorporated into partner engagement strategies. • Maintain accurate trackers and dashboards to monitor engagement and outcomes. Operational Coordination & Communication • Develop and manage detailed workback plans to keep projects on schedule and deliverables on track. • Provide proactive updates and reminders to keep team members and stakeholders aligned. • Synthesize information from multiple sources and communicate it clearly across the team (“managing up and around” to keep momentum strong). • Support preparation of materials for advisor forums, business reviews, and partner updates. Process & Continuous Improvement • Identify bottlenecks or risks early and propose solutions. • Help streamline processes, build tools, and develop templates to make the team more effective. • Take ownership of process improvements from idea through to execution. • Analyze data and report on progress toward OKRs. Identify critical process gaps or issues and recommend solutions. Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in project coordination, operations, sales/partnership support, or client-facing roles (healthcare or benefits experience a plus). • Proven ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple projects with exceptional attention to detail. • Strong skills in agenda-setting, prioritization, and workback planning. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to capture details and synthesize insights. • Collaborative team player with the confidence to “manage up and around” in a dynamic environment. • Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides); experience with CRM or light project management tools (Salesforce, Monday.com, Trello, etc.) is a plus. • Interest in healthcare innovation and curiosity about how employers and health plans make benefits decisions. Why Join Us • Be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of healthcare. • Learn directly from senior executives and industry leaders. • Work with cutting-edge partner solutions and influential advisors. • Enjoy a flexible, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment. • Competitive compensation package and remote-first flexibility.
