HF Foods Group, Inc. With 15 distribution centers strategically located throughout the nation, HF Foods Group aims to supply the increasing demand for Asian American restaurant cuisine. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: The receiving clerk is responsible for unloading and inspecting delivered goods to ensure that all products shipped goods while ensuring that orders have been correctly satisfied. Bilingual Mandarin Chinese is a plus. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Unload and unpack shipments of products Inspect shipments for damage and correct quantities Report damages or shortages to the appropriate person Match shipments to their associated purchase orders and enter receiving data on paperwork Record receiving data in company databases Prepare and organize received stock for inventory Return damaged products to senders Monitor inventory levels Any other duties as assigned by the management SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Basic math and organization skills Ability to bend and lift 50 pounds or more Detail-oriented mindset Excellent communication skills Understanding of safety protocols and requirements Experience shipping, receiving or selling related products Bilingual in Chinese is preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying. Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time. EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: High School diploma or equivalent required Forklift certification is beneficial for unloading large shipments WORK CONDITIONS: (The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
