Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Infant Room Teacher! Duties • Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote infant development, including sensory exploration, motor skills, and social-emotional growth • Support daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene to ensure comfort and safety for every infant • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment by following health and safety protocols • Observe and document each child's progress, behaviors, and milestones to inform individualized care plans • Engage with children through playful interaction, encouraging curiosity and positive social interactions • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute classroom activities that foster early childhood development • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's day-to-day experiences and developmental progress Qualifications • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or caregiving roles is highly valued • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices • Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required • Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus • Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and nurturing qualities • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm • Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for infants at all times Join us in shaping the earliest moments of children's lives!
