Full Description

Salary: TBD Herbal Goodness is seeking a fractional Business Development Lead to spearhead product innovation and development. This role involves identifying new opportunities, working with vendors, designers, and partners, and building out a pipeline of innovative products that expand our portfolio and strengthen our brand. We are looking for someone entrepreneurial, creative, and resourceful able to spot opportunities, structure collaborations, and move ideas from concept to ready-for-market products. Responsibilities: • Product Innovation: • Research and identify new product opportunities aligned with market trends and Herbal Goodnesss mission. • Collaborate with designers, R&D, and industry partners to develop product concepts. • Support prototyping, packaging, and go-to-market planning. • Vendor & Partner Engagement: • Identify and onboard new vendors (ingredients, packaging, manufacturing). • Negotiate contracts, timelines, and costs with suppliers. • Build strong relationships with strategic partners to expand capabilities. • Project Management: • Manage timelines and deliverables for multiple product initiatives. • Track progress from ideation through development and prepare handoff to operations/marketing. • Ensure all new product development aligns with compliance, regulatory, and brand standards. Qualifications: • Proven experience in business development, product development, or innovation within consumer goods, health & wellness, supplements, or food & beverage. • Strong network of vendors, manufacturers, and designers is a plus. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills. • Ability to work independently as a fractional/part-time leader. • Creative thinker who can balance big-picture vision with execution details.
