Senior Estimating Manager (Purchasing & Supply Chain) — Henselstone Window and Door Systems Location: Remote, Required on-boarding training in Virginia, North Carolina and Germany Compensation: Base salary + Bonus| Full health and dental benefits | 20 PTO days + holidays This is a remote role focused on estimating, order management, and supply chain coordination for custom window and door projects. Travel is limited to onboarding and occasional training. Candidates must be open to traveling to Germany. About the Role This role owns the process from initial project pricing through factory order and shipment. You will be responsible for building accurate quotes, configuring projects correctly, and ensuring orders are properly placed and executed with our German manufacturing partners. A key part of this role is direct coordination with international manufacturers and logistics partners. You will work with our factories in Germany to confirm pricing, technical details, and production requirements, and coordinate with shipping partners to manage container loads, timelines, and delivery to the U.S. You’ll also work closely with builders, architects, and internal team members to review drawings, define scope, and ensure projects are set up correctly from the beginning. This position sits at the intersection of estimating, purchasing, and supply chain execution, with full visibility into how projects move from concept to delivery. What You’ll Do • Coordinate with factories on pricing, lead times, and technical details • Manage purchasing and order placement with international suppliers • Coordinate container shipments and delivery timelines to the U.S. • Clarify scope and resolve discrepancies before orders are placed • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project details • Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and detailed bills of material • Perform takeoffs and system configurations for custom window and door packages • Track and manage quotes, revisions, and project details in ERP (Smartsheet) • Oversee order flow from awarded project through factory production and shipment • Support project handoff to operations and installation teams • Assist with smaller orders, service-related quotes, and material requests • Improve internal estimating and supply chain workflows Required Skills & Experience • Strong attention to detail — able to identify scope gaps and inconsistencies • Comfortable reviewing and interpreting architectural drawings and construction details • Experience preparing quotes, estimates, or proposals in a construction-related or manufacturing field • Experience coordinating with vendors, suppliers, or manufacturers • Familiarity with purchasing, procurement, or order management • Ability to build accurate bills of material from drawings • Organized and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines • Clear and direct communication • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely • German language proficiency required (for factory coordination and technical communication) Preferred Skills & Experience • Experience with custom or high-end building products (windows, doors, façade systems, etc.) • Familiarity with international supply chains and container shipping • Experience with ERP systems (Smartsheet or similar) • Experience coordinating with vendors and sourcing pricing What We Offer • Base salary • Bonus (performance and discretionary) • Full health and dental insurance • 20 days paid vacation, plus holidays To Apply No generic cover letter needed—just send in a resume, tell us why you’re interested and what you bring to the table.
