Drive execution of business transformation initiatives by managing stakeholder relationships, documenting requirements, coordinating resources, and tracking progress for onboarding business groups onto the Global Ecommerce Platform.
Requires 8+ years managing complex integration or IT projects, strong communication and organizational skills, understanding of ecommerce transactional systems, and preferably experience with SAP, Commerce Cloud, and healthcare distribution environments.
JOB OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for driving the execution of the transformative activities needed to integrate high value business initiatives, critical technologies, and/or functional onboarding of Henry Schein business groups / partners onto the Global Ecommerce Platform. The role will help identify and prioritize business requests aligned in order of revenue generation, cost avoidance, or process efficiency, to further the overall business transformation efforts of Henry Schein. The role will be responsible for documenting requirements, bridging the gaps for development, maintaining the relationship with stakeholders and guiding/advising the onboarding teams on internal resources, preparation of data, systems functionality, and operational norms. This position is expected to work with many cross-functional areas to maintain timelines, provide regular status updates, prepare/present progress as needed, and maintain momentum of multiple high visibility initiatives simultaneously in order achieve Henry Schein’s business transformation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain Goal Alignment: Prepare independent action plans and manage relationships with business transformation stakeholders, setting appropriate expectations on timing/scheduling of activities. Identify/Assess Initiatives: Review and keep logged requests that would include key contact, description of request, and category assignment (revenue generating, expense avoidance, system/process efficiency) with rationale. Data Analysis: Role will help gather information required in adequately assessing risk/opportunity of business requirements and subsequent transformation, incl. compiling sales projections, systems costs/expenses, review of transactional data, licensing impact, software/hardware needs, etc. Intake/Discovery: Serve as initial touchpoint to review requests with stakeholders to understand business parameters, timeline urgency (if any), initial scope/sizing, systems composition, data elements and any special needs. Documentation and Process: Capture requirements, maintain log of meeting minutes/communications, and provide progress update while setting appropriate expectations by accountable parties for completing their tasks, assignments, data mapping, solutioning exercises, and required development. Coordination of Resources: Upon approval, help identify the resources & subject matter experts, document the project plan, and track the formal timelines for executing the various tasks and subtasks needed to complete onboarding of new businesses, the conversion of source web platforms to GEP, and the preparation of systems go-live. Change Management & Communication: Act as the central point of contact for targeted integration to help guide/advise stakeholders, assess the need/level of communications across teams, provide regular updates, and provide any templates/training documentation from other integrations. Demos/Walkthroughs: Provide targeted integration teams and/or business teams with overview and key insights on GEP capabilities, feature sets, use cases, metrics, and overall how customers and TSMs use the Web site. Manage Progress Timelines and Costs: Track the day-to-day details and be ready to provide updates that identify risks/delays to important milestones, impact to project costs, conflicts in resource scheduling, and any need to adjust plans. SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Experience managing resources for complex integration initiatives in a corporate or consulting environment. Ability to build partnerships at all levels within the company and resolve conflict quickly and amicably. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate concisely and effectively. Strong understanding of systems and peripherals supporting transactional ecommerce platforms. Ability to create, document, and manage project plans for integration targets, and present/communicate them effectively to stakeholders and explain progress reports quickly and efficiently. Understanding of online ordering behaviors for B2B customer experiences. Experience working with technologies and/or companies within Healthcare distribution environment or within transactional B2B environment preferred. SAP and Commerce Cloud configuration and integration preferred. Collaborating with large teams on national or global level preferred. PREFERRED EDUCATION: Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Business or related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent preferred. May hold two or more industry certifications. TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required. The posted range for this position is $97,909 - $152,984 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
