As the Executive Director of Product Management at Henry Schein One, you will define and execute a bold, customer-centered vision for a strategic portfolio of products that serve dental practices across the U.S. You’ll lead and inspire a high-performing team of product managers while collaborating deeply with engineering, design, data, marketing, sales, and support to deliver exceptional value for our customers and their patients. Your leadership will be critical in shaping a modern, outcome-focused product culture. What You’ll Do Set the vision and strategy for your product portfolio, aligning with HS1’s broader business goals and customer needs Own end-to-end product execution, from discovery to delivery and iteration, ensuring high-impact outcomes across multiple customer segments Lead, mentor, and scale a team of talented product managers, fostering a culture of ownership, learning, and excellence Drive a customer-obsessed approach, embedding voice-of-the-customer research and insights into every decision Create and maintain a compelling product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on data, impact, and strategic fit Champion cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, marketing, support, onboarding, and sales to bring products to market effectively Elevate product operations, continuously refining how we discover, build, and ship products at scale Stay ahead of industry trends identifying opportunities to innovate and differentiate HS1 products Act as a strategic thought partner to executive leadership and a visible internal and external advocate for HS1’s product vision and innovation Promote innovation and experimentation, incorporating modern technologies and approaches into our product strategy and development processes What You’ll Bring 10+ years of experience building and delivering SaaS products, with 3-5 years of people leadership in product management Proven success in defining and driving product strategies in fast-paced, tech-led organizations Deep knowledge of modern product management practices, including discovery, user research, experimentation, and data-informed decision making Strategic thinking and commercial acumen, with a demonstrated ability to balance long-term vision with short-term execution Experience leading teams that deliver innovative, scalable solutions and navigate complex systems and dependencies Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, especially in matrixed environments Comfort presenting and influencing at the executive level, with clear communication and measurable impact Customer-centric and outcome-driven, with the ability to translate complex customer problems into compelling product solutions Passion for mentorship and leadership development, investing in the growth of your team and the broader organization Bonus: Background in Healthtech, particularly in patient experience, practice management, revenue cycle management, or dental/medical software Who You Are A natural leader who inspires trust and rallies teams around a bold vision Comfortable operating strategically and tactically, rolling up your sleeves when needed A pragmatic innovator who balances creativity with execution and measurable impact A clear and confident communicator, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and bring clarity to complexity Passionate about technology, healthcare, and making a meaningful impact on people’s lives The posted range for this position is $210,000 - $290,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus target not reflected in the range.
