Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, research or leadership experience, and strong communication skills.
GENERAL SUMMARY: • Reporting to a Department Leader, Group Practice Director, and/or Physician Leader, the individual in this role plays a crucial role in supporting research operations. • Contributes significantly to the department's goals and assists in both short-term and long-term planning efforts. • This position involves aiding in financial and operational planning, including budgeting and business plan analysis. • Additionally, may serve as a representative for the Department, Specialty, or Business Unit in internal and external • committees, while also participating in community outreach initiatives that represent Henry Ford Health. • This position will focus on daily operations and may involve stepping in to provide coverage for staff when necessary. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration, Business, Bioscientific/Clinical/Functional area, or related field. • Master's Degree preferred. • One (1) year of research or leadership experience. • Skilled in organizational attributes. • Ability to communicate in writing and orally to support, direct, and work with employees, leadership, physicians, and various external audiences. • Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets knowledge. • Preferred Skills: • Minimum of (5) five years of research experience in Biostatistics or related field. • Familiarity with a range of statistical topics (study design, data analysis techniques) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to interact with various levels of research and clinical staff & leadership
