Assist with patient examinations, perform clinical duties, and handle clerical tasks under supervision.
Requires 2 years of medical assisting experience, high school diploma or GED, and basic computer skills.
Assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.Responsibilities:Aids with treatments ordered by physician as supervised by physician or registered nurse. Performs select clinical duties including completing the Return to Work authorization checklist and process for associates returning from a leave of absence.|Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.|Fulfills basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.|Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies. Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Education/Experience: • 2 years of Medical Assisting experience required • High School diploma or GED equivalent • Basic computer knowledge & keyboarding skills preferred • Ability to perform a wide variety of clinical skills as related to ambulatory preferred • Problem solve • EPIC experience preferred • Communication skills
