Lead or coordinate shift operations, oversee staff activities, and manage clinical supplies and medication samples.
High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of applicable experience, with certifications in BLS and Medical Assistant.
Leads assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in support of physician practice operations. Responsibilities: • Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates. • Serves as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff. • Assigns, monitors and reviews progress of work. Monitors and reports compliance with policies and/or procedures. • Oversees and evaluates orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance. • Inventories clinical supplies and places supply orders to maintain desired levels. • Receives and organizes the handling of medication samples. CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted • Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Any issuing authority accepted EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
