We strive to be the BEST at everything we do. Position Summary The Terminal Operations Supervisor assists the Terminal Manager with all functional areas of the facility. Duties and Responsibilities: The Terminal Operations Supervisor will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, termination of drivers, tank cleaners, and staff Training & Orientation of drivers, tank cleaners, and staff The Terminal Operations Supervisor coordinates as needed with shop foreman and wash rack supervisor to ensure equipment availability to meet dispatch needs Coordinate with dispatch to identify resource needs and training & development needs are met The Terminal Operations Supervisor ensures compliance with hours of service and other applicable Federal, State, Local laws and regulations as needed Ensure compliance with published payroll guidance The Terminal Operations Supervisor answers the telephone Ensure both internal and external customers are treated with courtesy, discretion, and sound judgement The Terminal Operations Supervisor will be responsible for other duties as assigned by Terminal Manager The Terminal Operations Supervisor directly reports to the Terminal Manager Requirements Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years relevant experience Essential Qualifications: Must have good communication skills Must be computer literate Must be able to edit / perform Company reports Payroll functions Broker Pay edits Dispatch reports QHOS reports and functions DVIR reports and functions Must be able to work weekends and Holidays as needed Be on call as required Language Skills: Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently Physical Demands: Must be able to enter shop and tank wash environments (with proper safety gear) as needed to facilitate communications with those functions Must be able to walk around the terminal facilities to facilitate security inspections and communicate with drivers or other visitors as needed Long periods of sitting in front of a computer screen may be required Occasionally required to stand, reach, bend and lift up to 25 pounds Work Environment: The position typically operates in a standard office environment. This position routinely uses office equipment such as computers, phones, and scanners.
