Legal Pricing Analyst - NYC / Hybrid About the Role: Top-tier AmLaw firms are seeking a Legal Pricing Analyst to manage, analyze, and optimize client fee arrangements. This role combines pricing strategy, AFA management, and revenue operations, providing critical insights to attorneys and leadership on profitability, billing compliance, and competitive market positioning. Key Responsibilities: • Review, implement, and maintain client fee arrangements, AFAs, and negotiated rates in systems like Aderant, Elite 3E, or similar. • Analyze historical billing, profitability, and matter data to guide pricing decisions and identify trends. • Support RFPs, RFIs, and rate negotiations, including drafting proposals and fee structures. • Ensure compliance with Outside Counsel Guidelines and firm billing policies. • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and models to track engagement performance, forecasts, and realization metrics. • Partner with attorneys, finance managers, and firm leadership to implement pricing strategies that balance client value and firm profitability. Qualifications: • 3-8+ years in law firm pricing, revenue operations, or legal finance. • Hands-on experience with legal finance systems (Aderant, Elite 3E, or similar). • Strong Excel and analytical skills; familiarity with Power Query, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP. • Ability to communicate complex financial insights to partners and cross-functional teams. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA a plus. This is a high-visibility, partner-facing role where your work directly impacts firm strategy, profitability, and client engagement.
