COMPANY/LOCATION: SUNCOAST INFRASTRUCTURE (This is NOT a job on a gas or oil pipeline) General Summary of the Position: Perform a variety of tasks involving physical labor at CIPP trenchless pipeline rehabilitation and construction projects. May operate a variety of hand and power tools. May assist other craft workers. Essential Functions: - Perform strenuous manual labor in heavy construction projects. - Roll and unroll hoses. - Set up traffic control and monitor as required by foreman. - Set up crawler cameras. - Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment onto/from trucks. - Operate a variety of hand and power tools; read tape measures. - Cut brush and clear ground around manholes and pipes using pick, shovel, wheelbarrow, and ax. - Maintain a clean job site by picking up tools and securing the site daily. - Follow safety and incident reporting procedures and report issues to supervisors. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Knowledge of proper use of heavy construction equipment, materials, and supplies. - Knowledge of safety precautions. - Ability to work independently and follow schedules. - Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform strenuous physical labor. - Ability to understand and follow instructions. - Dependability in attendance. Required Education, Training, and Experience: - High school diploma or GED. - Valid driver’s license; willingness to obtain CDL. - Ability to perform manual work following instructions. Work Environment: - Work near moving mechanical parts and in outdoor conditions including inclement weather. - Ability to lift, push, and pull objects, and support physical activity. - Good manual dexterity and coordination. - Loud noise levels. - Must have good stamina.
