Helpsy’s Mission: We are the largest textile collection company in the Northeast US. Unlike most used clothing businesses we have an environmental mission: to keep clothes out of the trash. In just the last year we collected over 30 million pounds of clothes. The impact of the clothes we collected is the following: • 320 million pounds of CO₂ emissions • 20 billion gallons of water • The electricity usage of 10,000 American homes We are proud to be a Public Benefit Corporation and a Certified B Corp with an environmental mission. We believe that the tragedy of clothing filling our landfills and incinerators needs to stop. To fight this battle, we work with partners large and small to place clothing collection containers, schedule collection drives, engage with cities and towns, manage unwanted inventories, and spread the word that CLOTHES AREN’T TRASH. Warehouse Material Handler Role and Responsibilities: • Ability & Availability to work 8 hours per day on Mon, Wed, Fri • Availability to work day shift: 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm • Load and unload trucks and trailers • Organize materials, follow best practices and quality control • Operate a forklift and baling machine • Record warehouse inventory • Painting and rehabbing metal clothing collection bins Qualifications and Education Requirements: • You must be at least 21 years of age • Must have your own Smart Phone • You must be able to lift and carry large bulky items up to 50 lbs • You must be able to push and pull a rolling cart up to 450 lbs • Experience with a forklift and loading trailers • At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment Benefits: • Competitive Pay rate Rates • Paid life insurance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: • Warehouse: 1 year (Required) Shift availability: • Day Shift (Required) • Night Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: • King of Prussia, PA 19406 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • King of Prussia, PA 19406: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
