Assist with social media, graphic design, event support, and communication tasks for a faith-based nonprofit.
High school diploma or equivalent, proficiency in social media and basic design, and strong communication skills.
Job Summary: Work with Management Team to develop marketing strategies that fulfill goals of Helping Hands Ministries International, accomplished by social media management, designing and coordinating promotional materials, fundraiser assistance, etc. A faith-based, non-profit organization in Snohomish County. Remote and in-person, flexible hours, 25-30 hours per week. Pay Rate $19.50/hr (pay rate can vary depending on experience) Primary Functions Social media coordinator • Manage all social media platforms for nonprofit thrift stores and development promotions • Create all content (graphics, photos, reels, etc.) • Capture large store events onsite • Write compelling captions with strong CTAs • Respond to questions and comments on stores social media accounts Graphic designer • Design event and promotional assets • Print and cut in-house, or coordinate with external printing company • Adjust and print monthly calendar and partner posters for stores • Design graphics for emails • Design graphics for other miscellaneous projects and purposes Event assistant • Oversee and assist with check-in • Assist for setup, full fundraiser, and teardown • Coordinate and manage photographer Communications coordinator • Format emails using CRM software • Write captivating copy with strong CTAs • Schedule and send Development team assistant • Inputting data into donor CRM • Miscellaneous tasks Required Skills • Proficient in social media • Possess basic photography and videography on smartphone • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Skilled in planning, event production, and promotion implementation • Ability to generate creative ideas and manage execution • Ability to review and assess marketing strategies • Proficient in Canva or similar design software • Possess leadership skills • Excellent in follow-through and initiative • Resourceful • Ability to communicate effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds • Supreme organizational skills with the ability to multitask • Adaptable to work individually or with a team • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods of time • Positive attitude • Driver's license with clean record • Proficient in computer programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Squarespace; experience with Donor Management Software and Auction Software a bonus • Sign and abide by the Ministries Statement of Faith Policy Minimum Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college student in marketing preferred Essential Job Requirements • Recording data • Problem Solving Physical Requirements • Lifting and carrying 0 - 20 pounds • Sitting (for computer work), standing for long periods of time (during events) • Able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain) Working Conditions • Work is indoors with occasional outdoor activities as directed
