Job Summary: Overall responsibility for the RCM Cash Application Specialist function within the RCM team. Perform accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts receivable transactions. This person does have to live in the Ft. Lauderdale/ Miami Area as required to go into the Miami office once a week for bank deposits. The office address is: 10451 NW 117th Ave Suite 110 Miami, FL 33138. As a key member of the team: You are flexible and can embrace change You value progress over perfection You care about your work, the team you’re on, and the people we are helping You make it a priority to get to know the people around you – build relationships with your colleagues and business partners You say what needs to be said, while considering how it’ll affect culture and output Hold others to a high standard Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Post payments (ACH, Lockbox, Credit Card) to client invoices timely and with accuracy Reconcile complicated payment postings Save appropriate documents in the designated folders daily and update logs accordingly Retrieve ACH payment remittance from payer websites Follow up on any unapplied payment application in a timely manner Assist Team Lead with Month-end close Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Analytic and persistent; Self-motivated; reliable; strong attention to details; maintains confidentiality; complies with all policies and procedures. Demonstrates maturity and the ability to function as a team member, good communication skills. Education and Experience: Understanding of accounting concepts and procedures 1-2 years accounts receivable or general accounting experience Organization, prioritization and time management skills Ability to meet deadlines Written and verbal communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team with minimal supervision Proficient in MS Excel required Close attention to detail and accuracy Backup person for other A/R Duties Benefits: Weekly pay with salary ranges from $20- $22 hourly.
