Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Helius is building the core infrastructure for Solana, empowering developers to create the next generation of crypto-powered applications. They are seeking a hands-on leader to manage the Archival team responsible for building high-scale pipelines and low-latency APIs while improving engineering culture. Responsibilities • Lead the team responsible for building high-scale pipelines, storage solutions, and low-latency APIs • Hold a high bar for system design, performance, and operational excellence • Partner with founders, product, and staff engineers to invent new use cases and products • Improve the engineering culture – speed, ownership, and high standards are the default here Skills • 5+ years of experience engineering systems in large-scale, production environments • 2+ years of engineering leadership experience • Strong hands-on skills in Rust (or equivalent) • Proven ability to optimize query performance and diagnose bottlenecks across storage and compute layers • Experience using profilers and performance analysis tools to identify and resolve latency or throughput issues • Track record of delivering complex systems end-to-end, from design through deployment and operations • Strong people leadership skills paired with deep curiosity and a bias for ownership • Ability to drive clarity and execution in ambiguous, high-pressure scenarios • Exposure to Solana, blockchain, or web3 infrastructure • Experience with Postgres, ClickHouse, and/or RocksDB Benefits • Competitive comp & perks • Market-leading salary • Meaningful equity • Generous vacation • Wellness budgets • Support for learning and travel Company Overview • Helius accelerates the adoption of crypto-powered software.
