Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities: - Business Development Manager II (Sr. Buyer) is a career level position - Develops 5-year strategic vision and omni-channel business plans for all categories - Strong influencer; high-complexity problem solver - Early adopter of consumer trends - Strong influencer; high-complexity problem solver - Successfully negotiates long-term cost components - Best in class at strategic components - Develops, articulates, and deploys a long-term assortment strategy with suppliers - Incorporates supply chain initiatives into five-year plan - Demonstrates restless dissatisfaction, always trying to improve things, highly passionate and is seen as a catalyst for change - Leads and models an enthusiastic and courageous approach to problem solving Education and Experience preferred - A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience - 5+ years of related experience - 5+ years of experience in leadership - Experience in retail operations, distribution, and/or supply chain - Experience successfully working complex issues with senior management Do you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B Business Development Manager II (Sr. Buyer)?
