We are looking for a dedicated Registered Dietician Operations Manager like you to be a part of our team. Job Summary and Qualifications The primary focus of this position is to build and maintain data for the FANS technology software for patient food services. Additionally, this position will work with ITG and the EHR teams to enhance and maintain standardized diet, supplement, and tube feeding orders. This position also helps gather data and information for FANS to help improve operations and performance. This position is a supporting role and will support corporate, division, and facility food operations and clinical nutrition subject areas. Major Responsibilities: • Serves as the lead clinical data programmer for the FANS technology software for patient food services • Assists in training division specialists and dietitians in using the software system • Provides leadership in the development of patient menus • Oversees menu programming, recipe creation, and item sourcing for patient menus in FANS technology software • Responsible for food item maintenance within the software • Oversees and maintains the integrity of data within foodservice software • Responsible for purchasing optimization and item utilization within division patient menus • Develops and implements enterprise wide item standardization • Responsible for gathering data and information from various sources for utilization to improve operations and performance of FANS corporate, division, and facility. • Supports Clinical Nutrition initiatives • Responsible for maintaining standardized diet, supplement, and tube feeding orders in EMR • Responsible for diet order, supplement, and tube feeding enhancements within EMR • Collaborates with ITG on testing of diet order enhancements • Drives supplement and tube feeding purchasing optimization • Coordinates the implementation of division menus • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with a variety of leader stakeholders • Utilize technology and innovation to provide better service to patients • Determine and drive patient experience from software data collection • Analyzes, tracks, and trends financial data • Utilize data from FANS Technology software to identify areas of improvement within FANS operations Requirements: • Bachelor's degree Nutrition, required • Master's degree, preferred • 1+ year(s) of experience in a supervisory leadership role, preferred. • 3+ years of experience in hospital clinical nutrition role, • Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration, required • Advanced certification (RD-AP, CSP, CNSC, CDE, CSO, or equivalent) preferred • Licensed by the Department of Licensing and Regulation as appropriate per state, preferred • Registered Food Service Manager Certificate, preferred • Employment in this position is contingent upon continued registration as a dietitian, required In today's challenging business environment of cost pressures, supply disruptions, and workforce shortages, it is crucial for providers to efficiently manage expenses and enhance performance.
