Position Summary: Our dynamic Manager-in-Training (MIT) program offers an exciting opportunity to learn and grow within a respected organization with over 45 years of experience. Participate in an interactive training program that lasts approximately twelve (12) weeks, focusing on key aspects of managing your own account, including: • General Training & Comprehension: Learn to perform various job assignments and operate industrial cleaning equipment. • Leadership Development: Support training, quality control, and staff in-servicing in accordance with policies and procedures. • Policies & Procedures: Gain insights into ensuring quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met. • Reporting: Train in maintaining detailed records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment. • Training: Oversee staff training and quality control to meet HCSG standards by assessing work quality multiple times daily. • Leadership: Learn to handle managerial responsibilities, including payroll, staffing, coaching, and budgeting. • Communication: Effectively convey directives from client managers and communicate clearly with HCSG staff. • Safety: Follow safety protocols, utilize protective gear, and ensure cleaning solutions and practices meet safety standards. • Punctuality: Demonstrate consistent attendance and timely completion of assigned tasks. • Customer Experience: Positively represent HCSG through courteous interactions with individuals at all levels. • Resident Experience: Engage in positive interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests. Qualifications: • Positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions. • Capability to perform tasks independently and safely after appropriate training. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Basic computer skills for record maintenance and report completion. • Reliability in attendance and punctuality is essential. • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as necessary. • Ability to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods. • Capability to perform routine and repetitive tasks consistently. • Willingness to work around food and cleaning products. • Residency within the service area is required.
