No prior insurance experience required, proficiency with Office Suite, good verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work remotely with occasional in-person meetings.
We are a growing medical professional liability carrier looking to add to our winning team. This role starts at $50k with annual COLA and Bonus. Responsibilities Submission Preparation: we receive new submissions daily from brokers - they submit our application along with past applications, past insurance policies, claims loss runs and other items. A profile needs to be created, documents saved to the system and Underwriting & Rating Sheet(s) started. Credentialing Requests: Hospitals and facilities come direct to us to make certain physicians have coverage, we respond with proof of coverage. Phone monitoring: We have a relatively low call volume, but we have a VOIP system where this new hire takes all calls, handles what they can and transfers calls that need to be escalated. Other insurance tasks may be assigned. Qualifications No insurance education/qualifications needed - we will teach you what is needed. Proficiencies required: Office Suite (email/Outlook, Excel, Word), well spoken and can communicate well in a written manner. There will be cross training. This role is a w2 paid employee. No healthcare or 401k. Stipends provided for cellphone and home internet. Company laptop, additional screen and any office items needed will be provided. Core staff based in Melbourne - Orlando, FL area, while this role is remote, we are looking for a candidate physically in that area for periodic in person meetings.
