You will manage core HR operations including payroll, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, credentialing, leave administration, HR systems, and compliance, while also leading special projects that improve how we work. You’ll be the go-to partner for teams across the organization, helping them feel supported, empowered, and ready to deliver the best care possible. Duties and Responsibilities: Payroll Administration • Own the end-to-end payroll process, including processing, reconciliation, and reporting • Manage payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, and compensation updates • Administer payroll-related tax filings, unemployment claims, and other compliance requirements • Maintain payroll records and documentation • Benefits Administration • Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and other offerings • Support benefits enrollment, qualifying life events, and open enrollment • Serve as a primary contact for employee benefits questions HR Systems & Employee Data Management • Manage and maintain the company’s HRIS and payroll systems ensuring data accuracy and integrity • Support system updates, reporting, and HR analytics • Identify opportunities to improve HR systems and operational workflows Onboarding & Offboarding • Coordinate onboarding for new employees and clinicians, including documentation, system setup, and orientation • Manage offboarding processes including final payroll coordination, exit documentation, and system updates • Ensure compliance with all required employment documentation Leave of Absence Administration • Administer employee leave programs including FMLA, medical leave, and other leave policies • Track and maintain leave records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations Clinical Credentialing • Manage credentialing processes for clinical providers including license verification and documentation • Track provider licenses, certifications, and renewal timelines • Maintain credential records and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements HR Compliance & Corporate Administration • Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with federal, state, and company policies • Ensure adherence to employment laws and healthcare workforce regulations • Manage background checks, employment verifications, and annual business filings • Support audits and HR compliance initiatives General HR Operations & Projects • Serve as a primary HR contact for employee questions and day-to-day support • Maintain HR policies, documentation, and reporting • Lead or support special projects and ad hoc initiatives to improve HR processes, systems, and organizational operations • Partner with leadership on HR operational needs and process improvements Qualifications Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred) • 3+ years of HR operations, HR generalist, or people operations experience • Experience managing full-cycle payroll administration including taxes and unemployment filings • Experience administering benefits and employee leave programs • Familiarity with Paylocity HRIS system and payroll platforms • Experience in healthcare or provider credentialing is a plus • Strong organizational, analytical, and operational skills with attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple processes and projects simultaneously • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Work in office 2 days/week in Park Ridge, IL.
