Bachelor’s degree, Nursing Home Administrator license in Connecticut, and at least 2 years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator.
We are seeking a compassionate and professional Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the operations of our long-term care facility in Hartford County, CT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality care and services to our residents, while adhering to all state and federal regulations. Responsibilities: • Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, including staff management, resident care, financial management, and facility upkeep. • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, including state licensure, Medicare, and Medicaid. • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote the highest possible quality of care and life for our residents. • Oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of qualified staff. • Prepare and manage the facility's budget, ensuring financial stability and efficiency. • Facilitate communication and collaboration among medical staff, department heads, and administrative personnel. • Address and resolve any issues related to staff performance, resident care, and facility management. • Conduct regular meetings with staff and residents' families to discuss care plans and address concerns. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field required. • Current and valid Nursing Home Administrator license in the state of Connecticut. • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Nursing Home Administrator. • Strong knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations. • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. • Compassionate and ethical approach to nursing home administration.
