Role Summary Health Prime is seeking a VP, Chief Security & Infrastructure Officer (CSIO) to serve as the executive leader accountable for enterprise security, infrastructure reliability, cloud enablement, operational resilience, and end-user experience. This role provides U.S.-based executive accountability for cybersecurity, infrastructure operations, network reliability, risk management, and compliance readiness, while partnering closely with global technology leaders for delivery and execution. The CSIO partners closely with the Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) and trusted external advisors to operationalize the company’s modernization roadmap, ensuring security, resilience, and scalability as the organization transitions to cloud-based, data-driven, and AI-enabled platforms. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Security & Risk (CISO Accountability) • Own enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy and risk framework across legacy, hybrid, and cloud environments. • Lead security operations, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and identity/access management. • Establish and enforce security standards, policies, and governance frameworks across cloud-native, hybrid, and legacy platforms. • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST). • Serve as executive lead for audits, assessments, and remediation efforts. • Act as HIPAA Security Officer and lead executive-level response to security incidents. Infrastructure & Cloud Modernization Strategy • Operationalize and execute the enterprise infrastructure and cloud strategy, including migration, modernization, and cost optimization roadmap in partnership with the CPTO. • Lead the transition from legacy infrastructure to cloud-enabled and cloud-native architectures while maintaining stability. • Oversee system performance, reliability, availability, and observability. • Establish standards for scalability, disaster recovery, and business continuity. • Manage infrastructure vendor strategy, contracts, and financial optimization. Enterprise Technology Services & End-User Experience • Provide executive oversight for End User Services, including devices, identity, access, and workplace technology. • Mature ITIL-aligned processes (incident, problem, change, asset management, CMDB) in partnership with Product & Technology Operations executives. • Ensure a reliable, consistent, and cost-effective employee technology experience, executing on any improvements needed. • Ensure strong U.S.-based leadership coverage for infrastructure and EUS Operations. Risk, Compliance & Business Continuity • Own enterprise-level risk assessments, mitigation planning, and compliance posture. • Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning. • Partner with internal and external auditors; drive remediation and control maturity. Global Partnership & Operating Model • Partner closely with global technology leaders for infrastructure, network, and platform delivery. • Establish clear operating models, decision rights, and escalation paths across regions. • Balance centralized strategy and governance with distributed execution. • Build trust-based partnerships that scale delivery without creating bottlenecks. Executive Engagement & Leadership • Act as the single point of accountability for security, infrastructure, and operational risk. • Proactively communicate risks, investments, and incidents in clear business terms. • Build and lead a high-performing security, infrastructure, and service organization. • Manage budgets, vendors, and strategic investments with financial discipline and accountability. Qualifications • 15+ years of progressive leadership in security, infrastructure, cloud, or technology operations. • Prior experience as a CISO, CIO, CTO, or senior infrastructure/security leader. • Demonstrated experience leading cloud migrations and modernization programs (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Strong understanding of cloud-native, hybrid, and legacy infrastructure environments. • Proven success leading global, distributed teams. • Executive presence with ability to engage senior leaders and boards. • Experience operating in regulated or high-availability environments preferred.
