Job Summary Support the organization’s associate relations strategy by leading high-risk investigations, advising leaders, and ensuring consistent, fair employment practices that foster a positive work environment and mitigate risk across a multi-site territory. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities Leads complex and high-risk associate relations investigations to ensure fair resolution and mitigate risk. Advises and coaches leaders on policy interpretation, performance management, and employment practices. Identifies associate relations trends and develops targeted action plans based on data and root cause analysis. Conducts on-site assessments and provides real-time support during crisis situations or high-risk events. Collaborates with Legal, Compliance, and other partners to manage regulatory claims and workplace incidents. Supports labor relations strategy and response planning. Delivers training to leaders on associate relations, compliance, and leadership accountability. Mentors and develops HR partners to strengthen associate relations capability across the territory. Nature and Scope Solutions require analysis and investigation. Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors. Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff. Work Environment Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight more than 50% of the time. Education and Experience Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
