Manage bookkeeping and compliance reporting for multiple Australian clients, lead a team of bookkeepers, and ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
Minimum 5 years Australian bookkeeping experience, 2 years team lead, knowledge of Australian tax and payroll laws, cloud accounting software proficiency, and preferably a degree or CPA.
Description: Manage bookkeeping for multiple Australian clients, including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliationsOversee BAS, IAS, STP submissions, TPAR, and other compliance reportingReview financial reports to ensure accuracy and timely deliveryManage and support a team of bookkeepers or junior accountantsEnsure compliance with Australian tax laws and accounting standardsMaintain strong communication with clients and internal stakeholdersIdentify opportunities for process improvement and automationSupport financial reporting and contribute to operational efficiency Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in Australian bookkeeping or accountingAt least 2 years in a team lead or review roleStrong knowledge of Australian tax, payroll, and superannuation regulationsExperience using cloud accounting platforms such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooksExcellent communication and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple client portfoliosDegree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferredCPA or equivalent qualification is a plus Benefits: Flexible work arrangements and long-term opportunity
