Job Title: Data Center Analyst Company Overview: HCLTech is a global technology company specializing in IT services and consulting. Role Overview: As a Data Center Analyst, you will serve as the critical on-site technical support for IT infrastructure within data centers or colocation facilities. Acting as the hands and eyes for remote IT teams, you will ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of technical issues. What You'll Do: - You will provide on-site technical support for data center infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and storage systems. - You will act as the primary liaison between remote IT teams and the physical data center environment. - You will perform hardware installations, replacements, and troubleshooting tasks. - You will monitor and maintain data center equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime. - You will document all activities and incidents accurately for audit and reporting purposes. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project deployments and upgrades. - You will respond promptly to service requests and escalate issues as necessary. - You will adhere to safety and security protocols within the data center environment. What You Bring: - 5-10 years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure support. - Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking, and storage technologies. - Experience with remote hands support and working in colocation facilities. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Willingness to work on-site in Detroit, MI. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, or similar. - Experience with automation tools and monitoring software. - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments. - Previous experience in a Smart Hands or Data Center Technician role.
