About the position The Part-Time Legal Account Manager at Counts Law Firm, PC is responsible for managing invoicing, collections, financial reporting, and payroll within a law firm setting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and communication skills, who can handle client inquiries and ensure timely payments. The position offers the potential to transition into a full-time role in the long term. Responsibilities • Prepare and manage client invoicing and billing correspondence. , • Call/Email to collect past due payments and set up payment arrangements for clients as needed. , • Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices and payments via Slack, email, and phone calls. , • Process credit card and check payments, recording them in Bill4Time and other financial reports. , • Prepare monthly financial reports including Revenue Report, Trust Account Report, and Collections Report. , • File quarterly and annual payroll tax reports and assist with annual audits. , • Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for employees and independent contractors in QuickBooks. , • Create and manage onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and contractors. , • Set up and negotiate payments to vendors, maintaining vendor files and correspondence. , • Evaluate and recommend changes in policies and procedures related to accounting duties. Requirements • 2-5 years of experience in a law firm in roles such as Accounting Assistant, Payroll, Accounts Payable, or similar. , • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. , • Strong communication skills with correct spelling, grammar, and format. , • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, Slack, Dropbox, Bill4Time, and QuickBooks. , • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and mathematical skills.
