Disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble equipment in multiple departments while following food safety practices and assisting production managers.

Sanitation Technician Hayter's Farm is a family-owned turkey farm in Dashwood, Ontario that has been operating over 75 years with over 150 team members from across the Globe. We are the only Federal establishment in Canada to raise, process, package, and retail all in one location. Key Responsibilities: · Working as a team to disassemble, sanitize and reassemble the equipment in 3 departments · Following Food Safe practices, connecting with Quality Assurance team daily for feedback from their daily inspections · lifting 10-50lbs repetitively as well as bending, stooping and standing · Ensure Personal Protective Equipment is sanitized and organized for the morning's Production · Assisting Managers throughout the day to ensure production is running efficiently · Training provided for the right candidate Qualifications: · Knowledge and experience working in Manufacturing an asset · Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act as asset · Effective communication skills with a team-focused attitude Schedule: Monday – Friday 4:00 PM – FINISH, approximately 9PM.
