A world-leading consulting firm specializing in various industries, including engineering and technology, is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic team. This organization partners with clients to deliver innovative solutions and expertise across complex projects. The Role • Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents for software and systems engineering, cybersecurity, system operations, and hardware • Develop comprehensive system-level documentation and assembly/test procedures in collaboration with engineers and program managers • Create instruction manuals, how-to guides, and other supporting documents to simplify complex technical information • Employ photos, diagrams, and tables to enhance the clarity and effectiveness of technical content • Participate in project team meetings and reviews, and maintain rigorous document configuration control • Assist with maintaining web pages, wikis, and preparing presentations and reports, including graphical content What You'll Need • A BS/BA degree with proven writing, copy-editing, and organizational skills • Five or more years of experience in technical writing, particularly in engineering-based environments • Proficiency in writing manuals, test plans, and procedures • Experience with MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint • The ability to manage a diverse workload and function as a self-starter in a dynamic environment • Interim secret clearance or strong preference for active Secret Clearance (eventual TS level required) What's On Offer • The opportunity to work in a dynamic engineering environment with design modifications in flux • Exposure to digital tools like Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) • Collaboration with interdisciplinary staff and external program partners • A role with a focus on producing critical documentation for both internal and external audiences Apply via Haystack today!
