Hayden AI is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing & Communications Specialist to help build our brand and communicate the value of our vision AI platform to transit agencies, cities, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a skilled writer, content creator, and strategic thinker. This position reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications. Responsibilities: Content Creation: Draft, edit, and produce a wide range of materials for both Hayden AI and our partners, including videos, fact sheets, newsletters, website copy, op-eds, and more. Social Media Management: Assist with planning, creating, and scheduling timely and engaging content for Hayden AI’s social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn), with a focus on growing our audience, increasing engagement, and strengthening relationships with our stakeholder community. Experience with creating, editing, and promoting short-form video content is preferred. Company Branding: Promote and develop Hayden AI’s brand in the technology sector by securing industry-related publicity opportunities, such as conference speaking engagements; assist with internal communication efforts, ensuring consistent messaging and branding are used by employees across the company. Product and Program Communications: Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams and Hayden AI customers to create communications materials that explains the purpose and benefits of automated bus lane, bus stop, bike lane, and double parking enforcement programs. Public Relations: Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases, pitching stories, and working with reporters to secure media coverage and build brand awareness. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably within the technology, public transit, or government sectors. Exceptional writing and editing ability. Demonstrated ability to produce content quickly, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience with graphic design and video editing tools. Experience with public relations and media outreach. Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
