About the job: Material Handler Responsibilities: Enter data into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets accurately Perform basic cycle counts of parts and locations; resolve any variances as necessary Ensure that all usable parts are properly identified Deliver product parts and finished goods safely and accurately to the warehouse Transfer product parts and finished goods to designated picking and bulk warehouse locations Maintain inventory stocking levels in the product parts and finished good picking locations Enter and maintain inventory-related data in the ERP and Shop Floor Control software Pick components/finished goods using work order/sales order data Stage picked items for packing/assembly Select and pack finished goods as noted on the sales order Inform the Supervisor or Team Lead when there are issues with order fullfilment or product shortages Follow all department and safety procedures of the facility  Minimum Qualifications: * Experience working in a warehouse environment. * Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS). * Ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Basic math and reading skills to accurately process orders and inventory. * Physical ability to operate pallet jacks and push carts safely. Preferred Qualifications: * Forklift certification or experience operating other warehouse equipment. * ERP experience, preferred * Basic knowledge of data entry in Microsoft Word and Excel * Communicate effectively and respectfully to all team members * Ability to perform basic mathematical computations and apply them to daily activities * Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English * Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively * Must possess a strong attention to detail * Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, sit, and ladder-climb for more than 1 hour at a time * Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs * Ability to push-pull a maximum of 1200 lbs. with a manual rolling assist * Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus More about Havis: Website: www.havis.com •ISO 9001:2008 Certified Quality Management System •Fast growing company in a niche but growing marketplace •Company offers Health, Dental, Vision and 401(k) Plan with matching contributions •100% Employer Paid STD, LTD and Life & ADD benefits •Generous Paid Time Off & Holiday benefits •Competitive pay commensurate with education, skills, and experience
