Our growing company is looking for a NYC-based outside sales representative to join our team. In this role at Hastings, you will have the opportunity to work and grow alongside an enthusiastic and driven team. You will focus on helping our clients turn their ideas into reality, serving as a trusted resource, and building strong, strategic relationships that endure. This role is ideal for an outgoing, motivated go-getter who thrives on taking complete ownership and responsibility in their work to grow individually and as a company. Main Responsibilities (but not limited to): • Facilitating growth and development of both the Hastings & Vola brands in the NYC market and across key buyer segments • Driving specifications for Vola & Hastings products/solutions • Strengthening existing brand relations with target A&D and Dealer networks • Identifying, targeting, and growing our A&D relationship network/base • A&D Networking: Ideating, strategizing, and creating avenues/paths to get in front of key A&D players in the market • Creating brand and product advocates/promoters with key players and accounts • Product education, knowledge, training, and positioning of both brands • Monitoring, maintaining, and assessing the health and growth of relationships. • Identifying opportunities and areas for development and improvement (SWOT) • Dashboard tracking of key performance indicators for A&D and Dealer accounts • Dealer growth, development, and increasing display presence • Regular travel to hit key accounts across the territory (80% of time) Key Skills/Competencies Required: • Exceptional work ethic, self-managed and result-oriented • Articulate with excellent communication skills - written and spoken • Strong networking and relationship-building skills • Well-versed in new client acquisition and building strategic partnerships • Exceptional presentation skills • Cold calling experience and expertise • Experience in luxury market/niche sectors • Technologically inclined - comfortability with CRMs, ERPs, Powerpoint, etc. • Strong sense of work ownership and accountability • Organization skills, excellent ability to stay on task, and execute effectively • Strong retention skills and a quick learner Minimum Requirements: • Cultivated book of business and strong client network/relationships in the luxury sector • Educated to bachelor's level or equivalent • Strong sales background with at least 5-7 years experience, with expertise in B2B sales and account management/development/growth • Experience working with luxury sector architects and designers • Experience working in luxury market/niche is required What We Will Offer The Right Candidate: • $110,000-140,000 with an incentive-based commission structure • Our comprehensive benefits program includes: Health, a 401K plan with safe harbor employer match, life insurance, and dental insurance upon 90 days of employment • PTO • Two (2) weeks of vacation/year.
