Full Description

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager. This role sits on a program at a major OEM that is scaling production-grade AI across a large product development and engineering organization, owning delivery of a portfolio of AI-based projects end-to-end. Engagement details: • Location: Auburn Hills, USA • Working model: Onsite • Start date: ASAP • Employment type: Permanent contract via EOR, or Freelance Responsibilities: • Own timely, quality delivery of a portfolio of AI-based projects within a domain, under resource constraints • Ensure each project has a clear product definition, solution architecture, and adequate people and resources (tools, data, compute, etc.) • Lay out project timelines that best fit goals and constraints, and start up projects from the PRD and solution architecture • Set clear, measurable goals with timelines for everyone working on a project • Monitor and report on progress, surface obstacles and blockers, coordinate resources to resolve them, and escalate when needed • Serve as the link across teams, identifying cross-team dependencies and driving plans to close them • Lead selection and proper use of project tracking and reporting tools • Facilitate Agile and SAFe methodologies, including PI and sprint planning • Represent the portfolio to the Program Director — communicating progress, escalating issues, and proposing improvements • Assist in capturing problems and needs into Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in a similar project management role, with a history of successful projects in a leadership capacity • Strong knowledge of project management principles, best practices, and tools • Experience managing development projects using Agile and SAFe methodologies • Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to adapt across diverse global cultures • Able to drill into the right level of detail while abstracting away distracting complexity • Able to organize and present complex information clearly, and to engage and motivate diverse teams • Preferred: a degree in engineering, science, or business management, or an MBA • Preferred: experience with ML, AI, or data-driven solutions and the ability to grasp AI/ML and software engineering concepts • Preferred: experience across diverse organizations and global teams • Preferred: fluency in French, Italian, German, Polish, or Portuguese Next steps: • Press "Apply" • We will review your application • If qualified, you will be accepted into the network and can be considered for this and similar positions & projects
