We are seeking an experienced Software QA Engineer with strong expertise in Android testing to join our team in Plano, TX. This role focuses on testing network applications, analyzing carrier requirements, and ensuring high-quality delivery for Android-based mobile devices. Job Title: Android QA Engineer Location: Plano, TX (5 days fully onsite) Contract: 06 Months Hourly Rate: $41.36 (W2) Key Responsibilities • Analyze carrier requirements and test plans; provide feedback on coverage and raise clarifications. • Develop custom manual test plans mapped to requirements and address OS/device-specific features. • Execute manual test plans and log issues in tracking tools. • Capture and share logs (adb, dumpstate, modem/QXDM) with device leads. • Provide regular progress reports and documentation. • Collaborate closely with development and device leads on new features and functionalities. • Perform functional, UI, and regression testing. • Contribute to automation of test suites as needed. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. • 7+ years of QA experience focused exclusively on Android Technical Skills: • Python, Android Test Automation, Java, Cucumber, Jenkins, Appium, REST API. Preferred Experience: • QA experience with Android Mobile Device OEMs. • Knowledge of OMADM and Verizon FOTA/SDM requirements. • Ability to quickly understand project concepts and requirements.
