Harvard Resources Solution is hiring a Financial Analyst on a temporary basis to provide support for a group of manufacturing companies. You will work with management to provide support for financial reporting, forecasting, analysis, and budgeting for a group of related companies. POSITION TYPE: Full Time, onsite, open-ended contract position expected to last a minimum of three months. Possibility of extending longer. PAY: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour based on education and experience level. Requirements of the Financial Analyst: Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance required. A minimum of four years of work experience in finance and accounting activities. Manufacturing or Engineering industry experience is desirable OR Public Accounting. Ability to post Journal entries, reconcile accounts, perform month end close activities, prepare consolidated financial statements, prepare and analyze metrics, support budgeting and forecasting activities. Technical: Advanced Excel skills (Pivots, lookup/index-match, modeling), Power BI skills a plus. Accounting system proficiency. Duties of the Financial Analyst: Prepare financial reporting across multiple entities. Generate multi-entity consolidated monthly financial statements and key metric reporting. Perform budget versus actual variance analysis. Maintain financial models and dashboards. Provide cash flow forecasting. Assist in budget development activities. Calculate labor and burden rates and complete standard cost updates in the system. Post journal entries and accruals; reconcile accounts (including bank, intercompany, payroll, and clearing); ensure an accurate, timely month-end close; oversee expense reporting.
