We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Audio Assistant Intern to join our team and gain valuable experience in the world of audio publishing. Job Description As an Audio Assistant Intern, you will support the Managing Editorial team in various aspects of audio production and editorial processes. This internship provides a unique opportunity to learn about the audio publishing industry and contribute to the creation of engaging audio content. Responsibilities • Assist in the preparation and organization of audio scripts for recording. • Help coordinate audio production schedules and communicate with narrators and production teams. • Review audio files for quality assurance, ensuring they meet HarperCollins standards. • Maintain and update project tracking documents and databases. • Conduct research on audio trends and best practices in the publishing industry. • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving audio production processes. Qualifications • Currently pursuing a degree in Audio Production, Media Studies, English, or a related field. • A strong interest in audio publishing and storytelling. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. • Familiarity with audio editing software and production tools is a plus.
