```Duties``` - Oversee the daily operations of the medical records department - Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of all patient records - Develop and implement policies and procedures related to medical record management - Train and supervise staff members in proper record-keeping practices - Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for medical record documentation - Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely retrieval and delivery of patient records - Maintain electronic health record systems and troubleshoot any technical issues - Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives related to medical record management ```Skills``` - Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical coding systems - Strong knowledge of medical records management principles and practices - Familiarity with electronic health record systems and other healthcare software applications - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Leadership abilities to effectively supervise a team The Medical Records Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of patient records within a healthcare facility.
