A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or Human Factors is required. Candidates should have 7–10 years of experience in UX design for complex, data-heavy systems.

About the Role As UX Product Designer, you will be the voice of the operator within our Command Control platform development. You’ll lead user research, prototyping, and interface design for real-time mission and telemetry systems. You will shape how defense operators interact with autonomous systems, making complexity usable under pressure. Responsibilities User Research & Design Conduct interviews and usability studies with operators to map workflows and pain points. Translate mission requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and design systems. Create interaction models optimized for stress and speed in operational environments. Design Systems & Delivery Develop and maintain scalable Figma component libraries. Ensure visual consistency and accessibility across desktop and tablet interfaces. Partner with Frontend Engineering to validate usability and fidelity. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate daily with Product and Engineering to align on MVP scope and roadmap. Advocate for the operator-first perspective in all design decisions. Candidate Requirements Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or Human Factors. Experience: 7–10 years in UX design for complex, data-heavy systems (aerospace, trading, defense, or healthcare). Technical Skills: Strong Figma skills, geospatial UI design, accessibility best practices. Mindset: Empathy for end-users, clarity under complexity, pragmatic problem-solving. Portfolio: Demonstrates workflow simplification in real-time or mission-critical interfaces.
