You’ll interact with clients continuously through calls, our membership site, and occasionally email (though we try to minimize email). We are the best in the world at what we do, and obviously, our career coaches are no exception. Your Role: • Role #1 (50%) Client Results Team Leader: Lead, manage, and develop the Client Results team. You’re responsible for all goals related to our clients and the results they are achieving. • Role #2 (50%) Career Coach: You will be the key point person (Lead Career Coach) for 10–15 of our clients per week. Role Requirements (The Stuff You Must Know): This is NOT an entry-level position. You MUST have: • At least 5+ years experience leading teams. • At least 1+ year of remote work experience. • 5+ years experience coaching (with a significant chunk of that in career coaching). • BONUS if you have led or supported teams of career coaches. • DOUBLE BONUS if you’ve worked in many industries, unrelated fields or types of occupations. • Coaching Certification (ICF or similar) OR you’ve been coaching for 8+ years spread across 300+ individual people or approximately 4000+ coaching hours. BONUS IF THIS IS CAREER COACHING. • Flexibility in being available outside the standard 9–5. This role has a HUGE amount of flexibility but also isn’t always the normal 9–5. If you’re looking for a slower role with 9–5 hours, this is NOT the role for you. • Experience with remote work tools, including Slack, Video conferencing, Google Workspace. • Experience tracking client progress and maintaining records (you’ll be the primary contact in many situations). • Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal oversight. • Must be comfortable developing and working in a virtual relationship, and having a limited amount of face-time with your leader and teammates. • Able to work remotely, with own computer and Internet access. This is a 97% REMOTE POSITION (with a couple of trips each year for all team meetings or project meetings in Moses Lake, WA, or other cities in the US). Results You Should Be Confident Delivering: Lastly, these types of results for clients don’t scare you away (you’re confident that you can deliver similar types of results yourself—we call these Level 10 results—and develop our coaching team to get to the point where each coach can deliver similar results): • Go from a full-time 400K Exec salary to increase it to 600K while negotiating a part-time niche role (that isn’t posted and is created from scratch with the company) in less than 8 months. • Help someone who purchases a guaranteed package from us make a transition to work that fits in 5 months (when it normally takes 8–10 months for a seemingly impossible transition to work that fits their values and ideals). • Help someone (who is afraid to share with their boss that they will be changing careers), navigate the conversations and get their boss’s support along with a paid day a week to focus on their career change and a 6–8 month timeline to do it. • Design and implement a plan getting mid-level professionals face time with CEOs of target organizations. • Successfully design a plan with a client who wants to increase their salary by 50% while staying in the same organization (to go from $250,000 to $375,000+) while modifying their role to become an excellent fit. • You can get someone an interview in an open application process 99%+ of the time (when it’s a general fit). • You can generate a positive response for clients when reaching out for a conversation 99% of the time (and orchestrate a next actual step such as scheduling a meeting, interview or interaction 85%+ of the time). • Help clients transition to a Bridge Role in less than 90 days, every time. • Help someone who already has a 1.1 Million salary package, transition to a new role and to negotiate a part time and flexible schedule while keeping the same compensation package. Key Results Areas (How to Know if You’re Winning) Client Results Team Leader (CR Team Leader / external title: Client Results Manager): • You own our product offerings and the team leadership of CR. All of the coaches report to you. • You own team growth, training, onboarding, recruiting, and developing new group offerings. You also serve the role of Coach. Client Results Team Effectiveness: • You hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop client results team to consistently deliver impossible results for our clients (Unicorn Level Opportunity). You eliminate barriers for our coaches to get our clients their desired outcomes/results on time (or within client timeline). • Build Team-Based Client Relationships: • You continually strengthen alumni client relationships. • You document metrics, including the number of returning and recurring alumni clients and the associated revenue/profit. Client Outcomes: • Our clients are reaching their goals. Period. Every client we take on we’ve spent hours helping them define their goals and the support they need. Your role is to help them make the impossible possible for them by charting a path forward and getting them past barriers. Client Experience: • You’re creating a “best in world” experience for our clients. Sometimes this means you’re sending a voice text to encourage them on their latest win; other times this means you’re having a challenging conversation that is uncomfortable for both you and them. Every step you’re there for them – not just when they are on your calendar. They believe at any given moment “you’ve got their back!” Process Improvement: • You’re making our processes more effective. At every step you are measurably improving the process. Whether this is shortening the overall time our clients are taking to accept their ideal offer or improving our materials and processes (example: Highlighting helpful CR team resources on an ongoing basis like auxiliary items for clients outside of coaching program, HTYC connections to assist job search success such as recruiters, list of clients that are now decision makers, etc.). We're Looking for Someone Who Has the Following Qualities: • You are ecstatic when delighting others. You get fulfillment from helping others and anticipating what they might need. • You are highly individualistic: It might be difficult for you to answer the question, “What do you usually do when working with a client?” — because you do something different for each person, in each situation! (This position benefits our clients when you can’t stop thinking about the individual). • You’re very adept with technology (especially when it comes to leveraging technology to optimize processes). You might not know how to code, but when you get a new app or something goes wrong you can pretty much always figure it out quickly. (Also it’s ok if you know how to code too). • You can’t help but be ridiculously organized (you probably have your email inbox meticulously organized and maybe even your phone notifications; it bugs you when they’re not). • You can learn and apply nearly anything: You pretty much kick ass when it comes to learning something new. It’s your jam; if you don’t know how to do something you can figure it out. • You continuously have new ideas on how to do things and get excited when you get the freedom to implement those ideas. • You find solutions: When something goes wrong you have an “I will figure this out and make it happen” mentality about you. You can’t help it! • You have experience supporting many customers directly plus working collaboratively with a team and clients. • You love wearing lots of hats and being involved in many areas across the business. • You’re obsessed with getting the details right for clients (because you know just how important they are to set our clients up for success!). • You’re smart and resourceful. You can rattle off dozens of examples in the past week where you quickly drummed up creative solutions to even the oddest problems. • You love receiving feedback and implementing a plan and/or system to quickly pivot your strategy.
