As robotics and physical AI rapidly expand, Haply is building the interface layer that will define how humans design, control, and collaborate with machines. --- Role Description Haply is seeking a Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead the company’s product strategy and help translate breakthrough technology into category-defining products. This role sits at the intersection of hardware, software, robotics, and AI platforms, and will be responsible for shaping the long-term product vision while driving execution across our product ecosystem. The CPO will work closely with the executive team and engineering leadership to build a unified roadmap that spans: - Precision haptic hardware platforms - Developer SDKs and APIs - Software tools and plugin ecosystems - Motion data platforms for robotics and AI The CPO will play a critical role in scaling Haply’s technology from breakthrough innovation into widely adopted platforms across industries including robotics, simulation, design, manufacturing, healthcare, and gaming. Key Responsibilities - Define and lead Haply’s product vision and long-term roadmap - Translate deep technical capabilities into clear product strategy - Lead cross-functional collaboration between engineering, design, and business teams - Drive product development from concept through launch and iteration - Build and lead a high-performing product management and product design team - Establish product processes that support both deep R&D innovation and commercial product delivery - Identify new product opportunities across robotics, simulation, AI, and 3D interaction markets - Ensure alignment between product strategy, market opportunities, and company growth goals --- Qualifications The ideal candidate is a product leader who thrives in deep technology environments and has experience bringing complex technical systems to market. Required Qualifications - 10+ years of product leadership experience - Experience building products that combine hardware and software platforms - Strong systems thinking across mechanics, electronics, firmware, and software - Experience developing developer platforms, SDKs, or technical ecosystems - Track record of translating advanced R&D into successful commercial products - Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders - Experience scaling product organizations in a high-growth technology company - Passion for building elegant products that solve complex technical problems Preferred Experience - Robotics or automation systems - XR / spatial computing - Simulation or digital twin platforms - AI platforms or human-in-the-loop systems - Haptics or advanced human-machine interface technologies - Developer ecosystem platforms --- Compensation Competitive executive compensation including: - Base salary: $200,000 – $275,000 CAD - Significant equity participation - Executive-level incentive structure Total compensation will vary based on experience and equity participation. --- Location: Montreal, Canada (Hybrid preferred) This role offers the opportunity to help define the future interface between humans and machines.
