Please apply via LinkedIn jobs Hanson Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Technical Writer/Editor with experience supporting deeply technical engineering organizations to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role understands how complex software features, tools and services are built and can translate highly technical explanations into clear, digestible public facing documentation for distinct audiences. Responsibilities Include: • Content Development & Editing: Write and edit documents such as release notes, conceptual docs, API references, SDK instructions, hardware setup guides, how to guides, and publishing documentation. • Intake, Triage & Requirements Gathering: Review requests, summarize needs, and triage documentation changes. • Editorial Quality & Standards Enforcement: Copyedit content, ensure terminology consistency, apply style and terminology standards, and use Policheck where applicable. • Version Control & Publishing Workflow: Review and approve GitHub pull requests, oversee branch and merge flows, and maintain file structure. • Reporting & Operational Support: Report on documentation backlog, SLA compliance, and change request volume. • Terminology & Style Governance: Maintain and update term databases and style guides.
